What do you know…

I guess it was inevitable.  I sit and read so many blogs and websites, it was only a matter of time before I started my own. 

Please don’t get me wrong.  I am not so full of myself that I think the world will be a better place because of my blog.  I left my “messiah complex” at seminary.

It simply occured to me that, in addition to my regular routine of preaching, teaching, and bible study, I need another outlet of expression – things I might not otherwise be able to say in a sermon or sunday school lesson.  And who knows, someone, somewhere might just read something I’ve written and be convicted, encouraged, or filled with hope, joy, peace, etc… and that’s what’s it’s all about.

Ultimately, its all soli deo gloria!
