When I was in 3rd grade (9 years old) my parents started attending Easminster Presbyterian Church in Wichita, KS.  I still fondly remember those Sunday evenings when we’d go to the Bible Study led by Dr. John Gerstner, and I’d sit at my parent’s side.  Today I cannot recall what that great man said, but I can still hear the style, tone, and conviction with which he said it.  Dr. Gerstner was formative in my Christian upbringing, a hero of the faith.
